- Gets revised launch control and smart cruise control
- Three new colours introduced
- India launch could take place soon
Suzuki has updated the Hayabusa for 2025 in the international markets. The new model year comes in three new colours while staying mechanically unchanged. The new shades are called Metallic Matte Green / Metallic Matte Titanium Silver, Glass Sparkle Black, and Metallic Mystic Silver / Pearl Vigor Blue. Interestingly, Suzuki has also revised the launch control modes for more linearity and control while the new smart cruise control system does not cancel if the rider changes gears using the quick shifter.
Powering the motorcycle is the same behemoth of an engine which produces 190bhp and 142Nm. This 1,340cc, inline four-cylinder motor comes mated to a six-speed gearbox along with an assist and slipper clutch and a quick shifter. Putting a leash on all of that propulsion are crucial electronic aids including multiple power modes, anti-lift control, engine brake control, launch control, active speed limiter, hill hold, cruise control, and ABS. As for the hardware, suspension duties are by KYB forks while braking is taken care of by Brembo calipers.
In India, the Suzuki Hayabusa is retailed for Rs. 16.90 lakh while the 25th Anniversary Celebration edition is pegged at Rs. 17.70 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom). Expect the 2025 edition of the motorcycle to enter our shores soon.
