-Gets a new dual tone colour option
-Powered by a 900cc, liquid-cooled parallel twin
Triumph Motorcycles has launched the refreshed Bonneville T100 in India. The changes are purely cosmetic and in the form of a new dual tone paint scheme. Called the Aluminium /Baja Orange colour, it looks very eye-catching and shall appeal to those who want their modern-classic motorcycle to have a colourful appearance.
The Bonneville T100 in the above mentioned colour is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom. Besides this colour, the Bonneville T100 is available in Sapphire Blue/Silver Blue, Jet Black, Carnival Red/ Fusion White and Competition Green/Ironstone.
The Bonneville T100 exudes charm with its classic design. Whether it is the round headlight, the chunky fuel tank or the curved fenders and the flat seat with the white piping, the bike looks quite period-correct.
Powering the bike is a 900cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that makes 64.1bhp at 7,400rpm and 80Nm at 3750rpm. The engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
Under the bodywork, there’s a twin cradle frame that’s suspended by a 41mm telescopic fork and twin preload adjustable shock absorbers. The bike rides on a 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel while braking duties are taken care of by a 310mm disc at the front and 255mm disc at the rear.
The Bonneville T100 is known for its easy-to-ride nature and characterful parallel-twin engine that also makes a nice sound through the pea shooter exhaust pipes. It is targeted at those who are looking for a relaxed yet quick machine that can tackle the hustle and bustle of the city as well as a few highway trips.
