- Expected to be launched in a couple of months
- Will get new paint schemes
- No mechanical changes expected
Triumph Motorcycles recently launched the MY2025 Speed 400 in India. And everyone has been asking when Triumph will offer similar updates to the Scrambler 400 X? Well, our source tells us that the 2025 Triumph Scrambler 400 X is expected to be launched in a couple of months.
The updated Scrambler 400 X is ready for launch, but Bajaj-Triumph wants to focus on the new Speed 400 and the new Speed T4. Bajaj may push the launch ahead by a few weeks to let the Speed T4 establish itself in the market.
As for the updates, we understand that the new Triumph Scrambler 400 X will only feature visual tweaks and no mechanical or feature upgrades. The motorcycle will come with new paint schemes, in line with the 2025 Speed 400. While we may see an introduction of new paint schemes, the Matt Khaki Green colour will continue to be the mainstay of the Scrambler range.
As things stand, we don’t expect Triumph to offer the visor or the off-road mudguard as a part of the package. However, this may be considered in the future. Mechanically, the Scrambler 400 X will continue to use the 399cc, liquid-cooled motor that dishes out 39.5bhp at 8,000rpm and 37.5Nm at 6,500rpm. The single-cylinder engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox.
With these updates, we expect the 2025 Triumph Scrambler 400 X to command a marginal price increase over the current model. But, we won’t be surprised if Bajaj-Triumph keeps the prices unchanged.
