Triumph has launched the 2025 Speed Twin 1200 range in the international market. The British bikemaker is offering the Speed Twin 1200 range in two variants - standard and RS, and both models have received quite a few updates as well.
The 2025 Triumph Speed 1200 RS get a styling update in the form of deeper cuts and creases, the addition of a new fuel filler cap, black powder-coated engine casings, a compact exhaust setup, a refreshed LED DRL, and brushed aluminum bezel. You can purchase the Triumph Speed 1200 in three colours – white, red and silver and the RS can be purchased in black and orange. Not to mention, both variants get a bunch of accessories as well.
Powering the Triumph Speed 1200 range is the same 1,200cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that gets a new camshaft and has been retuned. It makes 103.5bhp at 7,750rpm and 112Nm at 4,250rpm for both trims. The motor is paired to a six-speed gearbox. For reference, the new bike makes 5bhp more. Triumph is offering the RS version with a bi-directional quickshifter as well.
On the feature front, the 2025 Speed Twin 1200 comes with cornering ABS, traction control, ride mods, an LCD with a multifunction TFT, and LED illumination, Triumph offers the RS an additional Sport riding mode too.
You get the Triumph Speed Twin 1200 with Marzocchi non-adjustable 43mm front forks and twin shock absorbers compared to the RS’s fully adjustable units. Both bikes get twin front and single rear discs but the standard model uses in-house assembled Triumph calipers whereas the RS uses swankier Brembo Stylemas.
The asking price for the Triumph Speed Twin 1200 is set at GBP 12,495 (approximately Rs. 13.80 lakh) and that for the RS is set at GBP 14,495 (approximately Rs. 16.01 lakh).
