- 2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900 India launch soon
- Teased on social media
- Gets a comprehensive list of updates
Triumph has teased the India launch of the 2025 iteration of the Speed Twin 900. The new was unveiled in October this year for the international markets and it gets multiple updates that are bound to be featured on the India-spec iteration as well.
Triumph has tweaked the design of the motorcycle to make it look sportier and it bears more resemblance with its bigger sibling, the Speed Twin 1200. The updated model boasts a new fancier-looking LED headlamp, shorter fenders and exhaust pipes, and tweaked engine casings. The colour palette also gets three new shades including Phantom Black, Pure White with Blue and Orange stripes and Aluminium Silver.
The hardware package has been updated with the inclusion of new Marzocchi USD forks and twin springs along with a new 320mm disc brake up front with radial calipers. It continues to ride on an 18-17-inch alloy wheel combination with Michelin Road Classic tyres. Furthermore, the list of features is more contemporary with the addition of lean-sensitive ABS and traction control as standard, besides a new TFT display. While the seat height has gone up from 765mm to 780mm, there’s an optional 760mm seat as well. The engine, meanwhile, continues to be the same 900cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin unit that produces 65bhp and 80Nm.
The existing version of the Triumph Speed Twin 900 is priced at Rs. 8.79 lakh, ex-showroom and the new model should come with a price hike of around Rs. 30,000-50,000.
