Triumph launched the updated Speed Twin 900 in India yesterday. In addition to revised pricing, the bike features new hardware and electronics. Here are five highlights of the updated British retro offering.
Visual Changes
While the 2025 Speed Twin 900 has the same design as before, it now comes in a new paint scheme of white with orange and blue strips on the fuel tank. Further, the bike has many more blacked-out elements, which give it a subtle look. Apart from the aforementioned paint schemes, the 2025 Speed Twin 900 also gets two more paint schemes: Aluminium Silver and Phantom Black.
New features
Along with LED illumination, Triumph has also equipped the 2025 model with ride modes—rain and Road—lean-sensitive ABS, traction control, and a new TFT with smartphone connectivity. The latter is an optional accessory that comes at an added cost.
Same Engine
Triumph has carried over the same 900cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin motor with the 2025 Speed Twin 900. It makes 65bhp and 80Nm and is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
Revised Hardware
For 2025, the Triumph Speed Twin 900 gets Marzocchi USD front forks and gas charged rear shocks. Even the swingarm has been stiffened while losing weight. The Speed Twin now rides on 17-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Road Classic tyres and gets a single 320mm front disc.
Higher asking price
Compared to before, the asking price for the Triumph Speed Twin 900 has been increased by Rs. 10,000 and it now retails at Rs. 8.89 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
