-Gets updated electronics and new TFT dash
-India launch expected soon
The 2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900 has broken cover and it features significant updates over the 2024 model. These updates are not just visual but also in the electronics and chassis department.
Starting with the design, the new Triumph Speed Twin 900 has a more modern appearance. There’s a new LED headlight with an inset DRL, shorter fenders, shorter exhaust pipes than before and slightly trimmed engine casings. The bike also gets three new colours- Phantom Black, Pure White with Blue and Orange stripes and Aluminium Silver.
The Pure White colour, in particular, looks striking. Along with these visual changes, the seat height of the bike has also risen from 765mm to 780mm. Triumph offers a low 760mm seat as an option.
Triumph has also updated the features and electronics suite comprehensively. The Speed Twin 900 gets lean sensitive ABS and traction control as standard. There’s a new TFT display as well and that adds to the 'modern' part of the Speed Twin 900’s modern-classic motorcycle appeal.
Moving on to the chassis, the bike gets a new Marzocchi USD fork that replaces the telescopic fork on the older model. At the rear, there are twin Marzocchi shock absorbers which are also new. The bike rides on an 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel combination that are shod with new Michelin Road Classic tyres. The brakes have also been improved with the addition of a new 320mm disc at the front with radial calipers.
The rest of the bike remains the same. The Speed Twin 900 is powered by a 900cc, Liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that makes 65bhp, 80Nm and is paired with a five-speed gearbox.
Triumph is expected to launch the 2025 Speed Twin 900 in India soon. Expect the price to sit between Rs 8.6 lakh to Rs 8.7 lakh, ex-showroom.
