The updated TVS Ronin was unveiled at the TVS MotoSoul 2024 in Goa recently. The bike received a few changes and here is what is new.
Mid-spec variant gets dual-channel ABS
TVS has taken the safety aspect more seriously by introducing dual-channel ABS on the mid-spec Ronin. ABS is quite handy in preventing accidents, especially given the slippery, gravelly condition of our roads. The introduction of ABS, however, is likely to lead to an increase in price by a few thousand rupees.
New colours introduced
The 2025 Ronin is now available in two new colour schemes- Glacier Silver and Charcoal Ember. These colours replace Delta Blue and Stargaze Black and will be sold alongside the rest of the older shades. The new colours are quite striking to look at and complement the gold USD fork.
New seat
The TVS Ronin also gets a new seat. The pattern of the stitching is new and the contours also appear to have been revised slightly.
Barring these changes, the 2025 TVS Ronin is the same as the 2024 bike. It is powered by a 225.9cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 20.1bhp and 19.93Nm. The engine is paired with a five speed gearbox.
The Ronin presents itself as a good city runabout, with its agile chassis and responsive engine. The ride quality is also pretty good. In terms of competition, the Ronin goes up against the Royal Enfield Hunter 350.
