-Gets a new 310cc engine
-Gets traction control and ABS as standard
-Is the most powerful Vespa ever
The 2025 Vespa GTS 310 has been unveiled. As the 310 moniker suggets, it gets a new 310cc, liquid-cooled engine that is based on the 278cc engine in the previous Vespa GTS. To achieve this, the stroke of the engine has gone up from 63mm to 70mm, however, the bore is the same at 75mm. Peak power has gone up to 25bhp at 7,750rpm while peak torque is also up to 27.Nm at 6,000rpm. This makes it the most powerful Vespa ever.
Vespa says the engine is smoother and that is because of several changes to the internals that includes reduced resonance in the crankcase. There’s a new ECU and fuel injector as well. Vespa claims the top speed should be around 130kmph. Vespa has also fitted traction control and ABS as standard on the Vesapa GTS 310.
In terms of design, the Vespa GTS 310 is as timeless as ever. The beautifully styled front apron, the bulging side panels and the neat-looking tail section are all reminiscent of a time gone by. The scooter is available in two variants- GTS Super and GTS SuperSport. They are distinguished through wheel colours graphics and seats.
Vespa has yet to announce the prices of the GTS 310. As for its availability in India, the chances of the company launching it here are bleak.
