Ducati got us really excited when it unveiled its new bikes – the Monster 797, Scrambler Desert Sled and Café Racer, Multistrada 950 and also the Supersport series last year. We’ve been keeping a close watch since then and now we bring you the prices of these upcoming motorcycles.
The Italian manufacturer has priced the Monster 797 at Rs 7.82 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), making it the most affordable Monster in India. The two latest Scramblers – the Desert Sled which as the name suggests has been developed to take on the sand dunes gets a price tag of Rs 9.03 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and the Café Racer retails at the same Rs 9.03 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Ducati’s most anticipated bike in India– the Multistrada 950 – will sell for Rs 11.53 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), pricing it sweetly between the Triumph Tiger XR and the Tiger XRx. Unfortunately, only the red paint scheme of the Multistrada 950 will be available in India at the time of its official launch.
Ducati’s Supersport series which has been developed to make sport riding comfortable and more practical for city riding, will also be launched in India. The SuperSport is priced at Rs 11.72 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and the SuperSport S will cost Rs 13 lakh – Rs 1.28 lakh more than the SuperSport model. All these bikes will be imported as completely-built-up (CBU) from Thailand and will be sold at Ducati showrooms across the country. The bookings for these Ducati bikes is expected to begin in the next few days and the deliveries will begin by June.
This excitement has caught up with us too. We can’t wait to lay our hands on these new Ducati bikes for a test ride. Stay tuned to BikeWale as we bring you the first ride review of the bikes soon.
