TVS Motor has released a teaser image of their upcoming Scooty Zest. We expect it to be an updated version to meet BSIV norms andalso include some cosmetic changes.
The company is tight-lipped about the developments regarding the updates of this product launch. Dealers and other sources say that this Scooty will get updates conforming to the new BSIV norms. Instead of the AHO feature like on the updated Jupiter, the Scooty is expected to get DRLs. Most of the other features will be carried over from the current scooter. So, a backlit speedometer, LED tail lamp, textured floorboard, dual seat colour option, stainless steel muffler guard and 19-litre under-seat storage with USB charging will be offered as standard.
The refreshed scooter might be powered by the same 109.7cc four-stroke petrol mill from the current Scooty Zest 110. This engine churns out 8.02bhp of power and 8.7Nm of torque. Fuel efficiency is rated at 62kmpl and the scooter gets a five litre tank.
The manufacturer might provide some new colour options and decals to differentiate the new Scooty from the existing one. More details will be clear with the nearing launch and scooters arriving at dealerships soon. Stay tuned.
