The decade old Pulsar 220F will get its second colour update this year since the launch of the BS-IV variant with two new colour updates
The black and red colour options which are currently available will get new chrome graphics. Bajaj has confirmed that the colour update will be an addition to the palette the company is already selling on the BS4 variant of the motorcycle - Blue with white stripes, Black with red stripes and Red with golden stripes.
The BS4 variant of the Bajaj Pulsar 220F with its BS4 compliant engine, is achieved through the use of Evaporative Emission Control system (EVAP) and Secondary Air Induction (SAI) which makes the bike more fuel efficient but the specifications remains the same. The engine produces 21.05PS at 8,500rpm and 19.12 Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. It is also equipped with a new exhaust and the blue backlight with a revised instrument cluster is a welcome change to the orange backlight which the bike has used ever since its launch in 2007. The bike also features considerably better cushioned seats.
The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F retails at ₹93,716 (ex-showroom Mumbai) and there won’t be any price change for the new colours. The screen-grabs are from the video below.
