Bajaj Auto Limited has silently hiked the price of the Dominar 400 by ₹ 1,000. The ex-showroom Delhi price of the motorcycle equipped with ABS was ₹ 1,52,002 earlier, which has now been raised to ₹ 1,53,001.
The non-ABS version of the Bajaj Dominar was launched in December 2016 at an ex-showroom price of ₹ 1.36 lakh. Now, with an ex-showroom price of ₹ 1.39 lakh, it makes the motorcycle dearer by ₹ 3,000 since its introductory pricing.
The manufacturer has powered the Dominar 400 with a 373.3cc mill, which has borrowed characteristics from the KTM Duke 390’s engine. Although not as powerful as the 390, this fuel injected mill is capable of churning out 35bhp of maximum power and 35Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a six-speed transmission.
The Bajaj Dominar 400 is said to be the most affordable motorcycle to feature several premium features like LED headlamp with AHO, slipper clutch and an optional dual channel ABS. The current pricing is still a competitive rate for the package it provides compared to its rivals in the same price bracket. So, hopefully this increment in prices won't discourage prospective buyers too much.
