A new variant of the Bajaj Platina Comfortec has been spotted at a dealership. Reported to be priced at Rs 45,350 (ex-showroom), the new model features an LED strip and revised instrument console.
The new Platina Comfortec variant features new decals and a V-shaped LED strip on top of the headlamp. The instrument console still looks basic and minimalistic, but has been redesigned. Powering the Platina is a 102cc single-cylinder DTS-i engine, delivering 8bhp and 8.6Nm of torque through a four-speed gearbox.
Last month, Bajaj had launched a new base variant of the Platina Comfortec, featuring spoke wheels. With the launch of this new variant, the Platina range now consists of three models. We can expect an official announcement from Bajaj in the next few days. The Platina Comfortec competes against the Hero Splendor Plus, Honda CD 110 Dream and the Mahindra Centuro.
