Kawasaki India has launched a limited edition paint scheme for its inline-four naked motorcycle, the Z900. Priced at Rs 7.68 lakh, this new limited edition will be offered alongside the black and green colour options.
While the Japanese manufacturer didn’t mention the exact numbers this variant will be available in, we believe this is company’s strategy to gauge the market response. If this variant manages to get good numbers, Kawasaki might make it part of the standard colour options. The company did mention in the release about its intention to evaluate the colour options depending on the customer’s response.
Kawasaki claims that other than the new the addition of this new black-red paint scheme, there has been few decals changes that enhances the overall appeal. The Triumph Street Triple 765 and the Ducati Monster 797 rival has been able to find a decent fan following in India. But it still lacks the aura and the brand value that the Z800 carried.
