Ever fancied a supercharged sports tourer? It might become a reality in the next few years. Rumours suggest that Kawasaki is developing a street touring version of the might Ninja H2.
The Ninja H2 is known for its incredible body work and its 1000cc supercharged 264bhp motor that makes it a rocket on two-wheels. But now the rumours of touring version is surely going to send shivers to the fraternity. It will be interesting to see how the Japanese manufacturer uses this supercharged platform for its upcoming models, including the rumoured H2GT.
Whether it will build new chassis or rework the current trellis frame on the Ninja H2 for the touring model, only time will tell. But expect team green to get mind boggling power figures for this motorcycle if not the 264bhp from the supersport.
We’re quite interested to see if Kawasaki builds this motorcycle to compete with the big Honda Goldwing and the BMW K1600GT or the more sober KTM 1290 Super Duke GT. The 2017 EICMA is just round the corner. Hope Kawasaki reveals this bike in a concept form next month.
