TVS’ new premium scooter has been spotted testing. The scooter is rumoured to be the production version of the Graphite concept shown at the 2016 Auto Expo.
While the test mule was heavily camouflaged, the angular front apron hints that the scooter draws inspiration from the Graphite concept. However, several aggressive design cues have been toned down to make it production feasible. The handlebar gets a proper cowl and the tail section has been beefed up to improve space for the pillion. Although it gets alloy wheels, the test mule was missing a front disc brake. This hints that the disc brake might be an optional extra. There have been no indications of the engine’s displacement, though we expect it to get a 125cc unit.
As for the scooter’s name, we expect TVS to go for a new moniker given that it is quite different from the rest of the products in the range. We can expect the production version of this scooter to debut at the 2018 Auto Expo.
