The Benelli Leoncino 500 was spotted testing in Pune again, this time the spy images reveal the right three-quarter of the bike.
The bike is a scrambler-styled motorcycle with a modern-retro appeal. It gets a flat seat, centrally-positioned fully digital instrument cluster and a flat-handlebar. The Leoncino 500 gets an LED headlamp a beefy exhaust with twin outlets. It sports alloy wheels shod with Pirelli Angel GT tyres.
The bike is powered by a 500cc twin-cylinder engine that is mated to a six-speed gearbox. This unit produces 48bhp at 8500rpm and 46Nmof torque at 6000rpm. To boost its scrambler looks, Benelli has equipped the Leoncino with 50mm inverted forks in the front while the rear gets a preload adjustable monoshock. Stopping power comes from twin 320mm disc up front and a 260mm disc at the rear with ABS as standard.
The Benelli Leoncino 500 is expected to be priced in the Rs 4.5-Rs 5.5 lakhs price bracket when it is launched in India.
