The TVS Apache RTR 160 has been spotted testing a couple of times. Now, the manufacturer has confirmed that the bike will be launched in the first half of 2018.
Going by the spy shots, the bike looks exactly like the Apache RTR 200 4V. It gets the same sculpted tank, edgy headlamp raised tail section and twin-outlet exhaust. However, the design of the alloy wheels, single-piece seat, and thinner TVS Remora tyres and rear drum brake differentiate the bike cosmetically.
Although not much is known, we can expect TVS to tweak the engine for better performance and refinement on the third-generation RTR 160. When launched, the bike will rival against the Bajaj Pulsar NS160, Suzuki Gixxer, Honda Hornet 160R and the Yamaha FZ-S V 2.0.
