Twenty Two Motors will launch their product, the ‘Flow’ in the Indian market at the 2018 Auto Expo. The scooter is expected to be priced around Rs 60,000-Rs 65,000
The Flow gets a host of first-in-class features like a touch-sensitive instrument display that shows all basic information along with upcoming service requirements. The scooter is connected to cloud servers and can be accessed through a mobile application. The owner can track their vehicle even after being thousands of kilometers away.
It also gets a ‘Geo-Fencing’ feature that provides security against theft. This feature alerts the owner if the Flow has reached beyond its preset geographical boundaries and the scooter can be shut down using the app itself.
Meanwhile, the scooter weighs 85kg and rides on telescopic front forks and also gets features like a built-in mobile charger. Twenty Two Motors claim that the under seat storage is large enough to fit two helmets.
Although the size of the motor and power of the lithium-ion battery are unknown, the manufacturer claims that it can be fully-charged in two hours. The scooter can travel a distance of 80kms with a top speed of 65kmph. The Flow will be available in two variants with the higher-end variant getting a dual-lithium ion battery.
Twenty Two Motors is expecting to sell close to 50,000 units of the Flow in 18 months of its launch. Apart from the Flow, the manufacturer will also launch two more products this year. When launched, the Flow will compete against the Okinawa Praise and the Hero Electric Photon.
