Kawasaki India has launched the 2019 edition of its highly successful litre-class bike, the Ninja 1000 at Rs 9.9 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). The bike is being launched alongside the world launch today.
The 2019 model gets only minor graphical changes in the form of new decal design on the body. Other than that, the bike continues to look and perform like the older model. It is powered by the 1043cc inline-four cylinder engine that churns out 141bhp at 10000rpm and peak torque of 111Nm at 7300rpm. This motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
The Ninja 1000 is known for its latest gadgets like the 3-level traction control system, ABS and the Kawasaki Cornering Management System. The bike also sports dual LED headlights, slipper clutch and full digital instrument cluster.
Just like the outgoing model, the 2019 Ninja 1000 will be available in two colours –black and green. The bookings for this SKD bike is already open at all dealerships.
