Yamaha has launched the Cygnus Ray ZR Street Rally edition in India at Rs 57,898 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It costs a premium of Rs 2,000 over the disc version which retails at Rs 55,898.
The scooter sports two new colour schemes- ‘Rally Red’ and ‘Racing Blue’ along with a few cosmetic upgrades. It gets a ‘knuckle guard’ integrated in the steering unit that also houses a new fully-digital instrument console. Apart from these changes, the scooter remains the same. It is powered by a 113cc, engine that produces 7.1bhp and 8.1Nm of torque. Braking power comes from a 170mm disc in the front and a rear drum brake.
The Yamaha Cygnus Ray ZR Street Rally will be available in dealerships starting next week. It competes against the Honda Activa 5G, TVS Jupiter and Hero Maestro Edge in India.
