- Six face lifted and new motorcycles.
- To unveil new motorcycles at Intermot and EICMA.
- Plans to expand to 25 dealerships in next three to four years.
Triumph Motorcycles India has announced that it will be launching six motorcycles by June 2019.
These will include all new motorcycles as well as face lifted versions of the existing models. While we already know about the updated Street Twin, Street Scrambler and Scrambler 1200, Triumph is likely to unveil the other three motorcycles at the Intermot or at EICMA this year.
The British manufacturer which currently has 16 dealerships across India plans to expand its network to around 25 such facilities in the next three to four years. While most of its numbers come from tier 1 cities, it aims to increase contribution from tier 2 cities as well. This comes after Triumph announced its tie-up with Bajaj to produce motorcycles in the 250cc to 700cc segment and extend its consumer footprint in smaller cities. These motorcycles are likely to be launched by 2021 and retailed through Bajaj’s Pro Biking showrooms.
