- The KX Concept is inspired from 1938 model
- Not planning to go production with this bike
Royal Enfield has finally unveiled one of its highly anticipated motorcycles, the KX Concept. This concept bike was unveiled at the ongoing 2018 EICMA Show being held in Milan, Italy.
The design and mechanical inspiration for this bike has come from the Royal Enfield KX, a motorcycle that dates back to 1938. This bike was the company’s flagship model then and was powered by a 1140cc V-Twin motor that is mated to a four-speed gearbox.
The KX Concept bike gets an 838cc V-Twin engine. There are no power figures chalked up of this bike yet as the company claims that it’s a prototype and the bike has been designed just to showcase its design force. As of now, there are no plans to take this bike into production.
