KTM has launched the 125 Duke in India with a price tag of Rs 1,18, 163 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The 125 Duke sports the same styling as the 200 Duke although with new colours and graphics. It is powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 14.3bhp at 9,250rpm and 12Nm of torque at 8,000rpm. Interestingly, the KTM 125 Duke gets braking and suspension hardware which most of its competition misses out on.
While suspension duties are taken care of by 43mm inverted front forks and a rear monoshock, braking is done by a 300mm front disc and 230mm rear disc. Furthermore, the bike is also equipped with a single-channel ABS as standard.
The KTM 125 Duke directly competes against the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 ABS, Yamaha R15 S and TVS Apache RTR 200 4V ABS. While bookings of the motorcycle are yet to begin, we can expect deliveries to commence by end of December or early 2019.
