Triumph Motorcycles has released at teaser video of the upcoming 2019 Thruxton R TFC. As per the video, this high-end motorcycle will be unveiled to the world on 22 January.
This Thruxton will be one of the most exclusive bikes from its line-up. The bike has been loaded with some top-end materials and components. To start with, the fairing and the front mudguard are dipped in carbon fibre. The suspension setup has been upgraded along with the brakes.
This bike that is part of Triumph Factory Custom will get an upgraded 1200cc engine. This motor will generate 10bhp more that will take the power figure to 106bhp from the current 96bhp. The bike is equipped with Vance & Hines exhaust system along with new engine mapping. The three riding modes have been revised as well. The overall weight of the bike has gone down by almost 5kgs.
Triumph had already shown this bike to its dealers late last year. We are expecting the British maker to sell this in limited numbers to keep it exclusive. Unfortunately, we don’t see this bike making its way to India anytime soon.
