-2019 Dominar features inverted front forks.
-To get a price hike of around Rs 8,000-Rs 10,000.
The 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 is expected to be launched sometime next month and has now been spotted bearing a new metallic white paint scheme.
The bike was offered in a white colour back in 2017 and will be brought back with a shinier paint option for 2019. Along with this paint, the 2019 Dominar 400’s colour palette will also include red and matte black paints similar to the previous bike. Furthermore, it gets slightly different graphics on the headlamp along with black and chrome finished wheels that will replace the golden ones on the outgoing model.
Bajaj has also upgraded the suspension on the 2019 Dominar, equipping it with inverted front forks along with a reconfigured instrument display. While it will continue to be powered by a 373cc, single-cylinder engine, the unit is likely to be retuned to produce higher power figures and comply with BS-VI emission norms.
It will be priced at a premium of around Rs 8000-10,000 over the current model which retails at Rs 1.63 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike competes against the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X and the Honda CBR250R.
