- 2019 KTM 390 Adventure spotted
- Was equipped with saddle bags, top box
- Will be launched this year
KTM’s upcoming bike, the 390 Adventure has been spied testing once again. But this time, the bike was loaded with luggage boxes which were camouflaged.
The spied 390 Adventure looks production ready. In fact, the final rounds are tests being done with the saddle bags and top box to check the bike’s overall performance. While the saddle bags look quite small, the top box does complete the bike’s overall adventure appeal. As per Zigwheels, the 390 Adventure will be equipped with Continental TKC 70 tyres which are dual-purpose in nature. The bike that was snapped on camera was equipped with alloy wheels, but we believe there will be spoke wheel variant on offer as well.
This ADV will be powered by the same 373cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. This engine makes 43bhp and 37Nm torque at peak conditions but expect the Adventure 390 to be tuned differently to suit its off-road ability. This motor will be mated to a six-speed transmission but will sport different gear ratios. The bike will also have a larger fuel tank to increase the range of the bike.
The 390 Adventure will be made in India and exported to the rest of the world. The bike is likely to make its India debut later this year.
