Triumph introduces 2 year extended warranty programme

- Applicable on Triumph’s entire model line up

- Offers global coverage over unlimited kilometres

- Can be opted only if the bike is already covered under the standard warranty

- Transferable in case of resale

Along with the launch of the 2019 edition of the Street Twin and Street Scrambler yesterday, Triumph Motorcycles also introduced its two year extended warranty programme. The programme is applicable on Triumph’s entire model line-up beginning from the entry-level Street Twin to the premium Tiger 1200 models.

The extended warranty programme can be opted only if the motorcycle is already covered under the standard warranty period which is for two years. Interestingly, Triumph has split the extended warranty fees into two sections. On purchase of the new Triumph motorcycle, one can opt for the extended warranty programme in the first three months with the benefit of paying an early bird discounted amount. Post that, till the end of the standard warranty, one can enrol for the extended warranty by paying the standard fees.

Apart from that, the Triumph extended warranty programme offers the owner with global coverage along with unlimited kilometres for the motorcycle. In addition to that, the extended warranty is also transferable in case if a resale. The company feels, the extended warranty programme will help improve the resale value of the motorcycles, which we don’t doubt at all. All the parts and components like engine parts, electrical components, sensors, cooling circuit, ECU, gearbox parts, suspension system, frame assembly, swingarm components, lubrication system, etc. that are covered under the standard warranty are also being covered in the extended warranty programme.

Following is a table consisting of the fees model-wise for the extended warranty programme:
