- CB Unicorn 150 ABS launched
- Costs Rs 6500 more than the standard model
- Rivals Pulsar 150, Achiever 150, Apache RTR 160
Honda has launched the ABS variant of its famous Unicorn 150. The Unicorn 150 ABS has been priced at Rs 78,815 (ex-showroom Delhi), making it Rs 6500 more expensive than the non-ABS model.
Just like a few Honda motorcycles, the Unicorn 150 also gets a single-channel (ABS) system. That means, this system works only on the front wheel, to avoid locking it up. The Unicorn 150 is famous for its no non-sense design, and features that makes it quite enticing. The bike is comfortable too, thanks to the large seat, and the soft suspension setup. This bike was discontinued a few years ago to make way for the Unicorn 160. However, it was re-introduced in the Indian market due to the high demand.
The 150cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor on the CB Unicorn 150 makes 12.73bhp at 8000rpm and peak torque of 12.8Nm at 5500rpm. This engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox. In terms of features, the CB Unicorn 150 isn’t as loaded as the CB Hornet 160R or the X-Blade, but it does gets features like 3D logo on the fuel tank and chrome carburettor cover.
The CB Unicorn 150 competes against the Bajaj Pulsar 150, Hero Achiever 150 and the TVS Apache RTR 160.
