- Panigale V4 based streetfighter under development
- Might unveil a concept this year
Ducati is working on a streetfighter which will be based on the Panigale V4. This new development was confirmed by Claudio Domenicali, CEO, Ducati in an interview.
The top honcho was replying to the questions on new motorcycles based on the V4 platform. He went on to say ‘Then she will be there as soon as possible’. This makes us believe that the Italian bike maker could showcase a concept streetfighter at the 2019 EICMA show in Italy.
The production variant could be a year or two away, but the prototypes are likely to be seen on the road soon after the concept makes its debut. In terms of power and equipment, the upcoming streetfighter might be marginally less powerful than the Panigale V4, but could deliver the same amount of excitement and adrenaline.
This Ducati will definitely make its way to India as Ducati sells the V4 and the V4R in the country too.
