CF Moto, a Chinese motorcycle brand, is highly likely to venture into the Indian market in association with AMW Motors. The duo has been testing CF Moto bikes in Hyderabad and the spy shots have created quite a stir on the internet. Interestingly, an AMW official has now revealed a few details about the entry of CF Moto bikes in India.
In its International line-up, CF Moto has multiple bikes ranging from 125cc to 650cc which are street naked and touring models. All the bikes boast of edgy and modern aesthetics which are created by KISKA design firm. According to an AMW official, the models which will be introduced in India include the CF Moto 250NK, 400NK, 650NK, 650MT and the 650GT. These are likely to be followed by the 300NK in the later stage. The company also has ATVs and side-by-side vehicles in its portfolio and, depending on the response of customers, the company might launch them in India later.
The CF Moto bikes will come to India via the CKD route and AMW is reportedly on track of setting up a facility in Bangalore. In terms of specifications, the motorcycles will be the same as the international-spec versions.
Initially, AWM will have dealerships for CF Moto bikes in Bangalore and Hyderabad which are likely to be followed by other cities as well. While the launch of these motorcycles is expected to take place by May or June, AMW might make an official announcement about CF Moto’s entry in India this month. Currently, the company is working on the pricing of the motorcycles which it aims to keep as competitive as possible.
