Royal Enfield is set to launch the Bullet Trials 350 Scrambler in India on 26 March. With just a few days before the bike arrives in showrooms, we tell you what to expect from the Royal Enfield Bullet Trials 350 Scrambler.
Design
The Royal Enfield Bullet Trials 350 as its name suggests is based on the standard Bullet. However, the motorcycle’s styling is inspired by scrambler motorcycles. So it will sport dual-purpose tyres, a raised rear fender with luggage rack and an upswept exhaust. The Bullet Trials 350 will be offered with a single-seat to complete its scrambler look. While the suspension setup is likely to be simialr to the standard bike, we expect the Royal Enfield Bullet Trials 350 to offer higher ground clearance to suit its character.
Royal Enfield has adorned the Bullet Trials 350 with generous amounts of chrome on components like the mirrors, brake pedal, oval air box, exhaust and headlamp cowl. The frame and sub-frame is painted in red on the Bullet Trials 350.
Engine
The Bullet Trials 350 iwill be powered by a 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine similar to the bike it is based on. The motor produces 19.8bhp and 28Nm of torque and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.
Cycle Parts
The bike rides on 19-inch spoke wheels on the front and rear with tubed, dual-sport tyres. Braking duties will be handled by disc brakes at both ends with a dual-channel ABS unit as standard. Meanwhile, the Bullet Trials 350’s suspension duties are taken up by telescopic forks up front and a dual-shock setup at the rear.
Pricing
While Royal Enfield is yet to reveal the pricing for the Bullet Trials 350, we expect the motorcycle to cost Rs 6000 to Rs 10,000 over the Bullet Electra Twinspark Dual Disc variant which is priced at Rs 1.32 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Royal Enfield recently launched accessories for the entire range and will also be offering the same for the Bullet 350 Trials like a touring seat and engine guards.
