Benelli had launched the TRK 502 and TRK 502X in February at an introductory price of Rs 5 lakhs and 5.4 lakhs respectively. The company received a good response for the motorcycles and managed to register 150 bookings altogether within 15 days of the launch. Now, effective from tomorrow, the bike maker will be hiking the prices of the motorcycles by Rs 10,000, due to which, the TRK 502 will retail at Rs 5.1 lakhs and the TRK 502X at Rs 5.5 lakhs. Besides that, with the aim to build a strong network in India Benelli opened a new showroom in Noida. The new showroom has been inaugurated under the dealership of Felix Autowerks LLP and will showcase the entire Benelli product portfolio for India. The dealership is also equipped with merchandises and accessories to complete the showroom experience. Benelli’s current product portfolio comprises of five models, the TNT 300, 302R, TNT 600i, TRK 502 and the TRK 502X. All products come with a five-year unlimited kilometre warranty as standard.
Lastly, the press release mentioned motorcycle customisation which Benelli plans to introduce in the country in a phased manner. It’ll be interesting to know the kind of mods that will be offered for customers to personalise their motorcycles.
