Yamaha MT-15 buyers to receive free jacket or helmet

India Yamaha Motor, the Indian hand of Japanese motorcycle brand, Yamaha Motor Company, has introduced a new offer under the name of an accessory campaign for its newest model, the MT-15. The company has mentioned that the idea behind the campaign is to promote the MT riding culture along with the sale and marketing of the new motorcycle. 

Under this new initiative, upon the purchase of every new MT-15, the owners can avail either a complimentary MT branded riding jacket or a helmet. Notably, existing owners of the motorcycle will also be contacted by authorised Yamaha dealers who will arrange for the selection and have the respective accessory delivered. The accessories campaign will remain active for a limited period of time.

The Yamaha MT-15 is the naked sibling of the fully-faired YZF R15 V 3.0, offering a projector headlamp and snazzy looks. It is powered by the same 155cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor with Variable Valve Actuation lifted from its faired cousin. In the MT-15, the motor is capable of producing 19bhp and 14.7Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is suspended by telescopic forks up front and monoshock at the rear while braking is done by disc brakes at both ends.
