Vespa has launched the Urban Club 125 in India at Rs 72,190 (ex-showroom, Pune).
The scooter is based on the Vespa Notte and is available in four colour options of Azzurro Provenza, Maze Grey, Glossy Yellow and Glossy Red. Meanwhile, components like the mirror, grab rail, wheels and brake levers are finished in black.
Apart from the paint schemes, the Vespa Urban Club 125 is similar to the Vespa Notte. The scooter is powered by a 124cc engine that produces 9.5bhp of power and 9.9Nm of torque and is mated to a CVT gearbox. The Vespa Urban Club rides on 10-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. The company is offering the scooter only with drum brakes on both ends with CBS.
Bookings for the Vespa Urban Club have already commenced across India and deliveries are expected to begin in the coming weeks. In terms of competition, the Urban Club competes against the Suzuki Access 125, Hero Maestro Edge 125 and Honda Activa 125 in the country.
