Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. has announced the launch of a refreshed version of its highest selling scooter, the Access 125, with new features and colour scheme to make the scooter more appealing to buyers. The update is limited only to the top-spec Special Edition series featuring a distinct ‘Special Edition’ logo on the side fenders along with the inclusion of a new Metallic Matte Bordeaux colour scheme. Besides that, the refreshed version also gets black alloy wheels, beige leatherette seat and round shaped chrome mirrors. For ease of convenience, the scooter also gets a DC socket for charging smartphones as standard equipment.
Apart from the above additions, the Access 125 SE remains the same. The scooter features a long seat, wide footboard, generous under-seat storage, conveniently placed front apron pocket. The scooter is powered by a peppy 124cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor that resisters 8.4bhp of max power and 10.2Nm of peak torque. The motor transfers the power to the rear wheel via a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The Access 125 SE is suspended by telescopic forks at the front and monoshock at the rear. Braking is done by disc-drum arrangement and is equipped with CBS technology.
Along with the addition of the new colour scheme, the Access 125 SE continues to be offered in other colour options like Metallic Matte Black, Metallic Sonic Silver and Pearl Mirage White. In terms of pricing, the scooter continues to retail at Rs 61,788 ex-showroom, New Delhi.
