Yamaha has launched the FZ-25 MotoGP edition in India with a sticker price of Rs 1,36,680 lakhs; a premium of Rs 2,830 over the standard variant.
The bike comes in black colour with blue highlights on the headlamp cowl and tank shrouds. It also gets a 2019 MotoGP-inspired livery with the Monster Energy logo on the tank shrouds, front fender and side panels. The FZ-25 MotoGP edition also sports the Yamalube logo on the left side of the headlamp cowl and ENEOS logo on the tank shrouds.
Apart from the livery, the FZ-25 remains the same mechanically. It comes powered by a 249cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that churns out 20.3bhp and 20Nm of torque. The motor comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. The suspension is taken care of telescopic forks for the front and a monoshock at the rear while braking is done by single discs at both ends along with a dual-channel ABS.
Yamaha is also offering a MotoGP-themed T-shirt with every purchase of the FZ-25 MotoGP edition. The motorcycle is expected to reach dealerships across India in the next couple of weeks.
