- Revolt RV 400 enters production
- India’s first AI-enabled electric motorcycle
- Prices to be announced on 28 August
Gurgaon-based Revolt Intellicorp has rolled out its first RV 400 off the production line. The electric motorcycle which carries the distinction of being the first AI-enabled motorcycle in the country is being manufactured at the company’s Manesar plant. The manufacturing facility is claimed by the company to have a production capacity of 1.2 lakh vehicles commissioned under Phase one.
After being under development for more than two years, the company had unveiled the RV 400 in June. The motorcycle was due for its price launch on 7 August but has now been rescheduled for 28 August. Interestingly, the company has already received over 2500 bookings for the RV 400 prior to its price unveil.
The company hasn’t yet disclosed the specs of the bike but has declared that the RV 400 will be capable of offering a range of 156kms and a top speed of 85kmph. The motorcycle comes with a swappable battery design and can be charged using several other options. It will be available with three riding modes and also feature multiple artificial exhaust sound function, simulating an audible exhaust note of a petrol-powered motorcycle.
Revolt Intellicorp will be offering the RV 400 in two colour schemes - Rebel Red and Cosmic Black. If Revolt manages to price the RV 400 competitively in the market, expect it to create a big stir in the current Indian two-wheeler market.
