Revolt Motors has launched the RV300 and RV400 electric motorcycles in India which mark the brand’s introduction in the country. The e-bikes are modern in every sense featuring a sporty styling, lithium-ion battery, potent motor and a plethora of fancy features. However, when it comes to their pricing, Revolt has taken a different approach by introducing a unique ‘My Revolt Plan’ with monthly installment schemes for the RV300, RV400 standard and RV400 premium. Here’s all you need to know about the plans.
Revolt RV300
The RV300 is the most affordable offering from Revolt which is available at Rs 2,999 per month EMI scheme for 37 months. While you can book the bike by paying the first instalment of Rs 2,999, you can also opt for an optional 4G connectivity by paying an additional sum of Rs 8,000 at the time of booking. In that case, you end up paying a total sum of Rs 10,999 while purchasing the RV300.
Revolt RV400 Base
The RV400, when bought with the base plan, demands a monthly installment of Rs 3,499 for a period of 37 months. Being more affordable over the premium scheme, base plan also lacks a few features such as free 4G connectivity for three years, immobilizer, remote key, push start and sound simulator (artificial exhaust sound). However, a buyer can choose to have these features with the base plan also, by paying a premium of Rs 16,998 while booking. Resultantly, adding this with the first instalment of Rs 3,499, the buyer pays a booking amount of Rs 20,497.
Revolt RV400 Premium
The RV400 Premium can be purchased with an instalment plan of Rs 3,999, this too payable for 37 months. As the name suggests, this package readily comprises all the features without having to pay an extra sum while booking. In that case, by paying the booking amount (first instalment) of Rs 3,999, you get free 4G connectivity for three years, immobilizer, remote key, push start and sound simulator (artificial exhaust sound). What’s more, the buyer is also entitled to a free tyre replacement in the span of the first three years of owning the RV400 premium.
Notably, for the additional premium on RV300 and RV400 base variant (inclusive in the standard pricing of the RV400 premium), Revolt seems to offer ‘Extended 1 year + 2 years (Own Damage)’, as per the website. This could be related to insurance but final confirmation is awaited from the brand. (Update: The company has updated the information on the website clarifying that the said feature is related to insurance. While the company is already offering one year (own damage) and five year third party insurance, by paying an extra cost (included in standard pricing for RV400 premium), you get extended one year + two year (own damage) insurance.)
Now, summing up the monthly installments, the final prices of the bikes are Rs 1.11 lakhs for the RV300 (excluding added features), Rs 1.29 lakhs for the RV400 base (excluding added features) and Rs 1.47 lakhs for the RV400 premium. Revolt Motors has also announced introductory benefits on the bikes which include battery warranty of 1.5 lakh km/eight years, free maintenance benefits of three years/30,000kms, product warranty of five years/75,000kms and free insurance.
