- Ninja 400 gets two new colour schemes Metallic Spark Black/Lime Green and Lime Green/Ebony (KRT Edition)
- Both are limited to only 10 units each for India
- Continues to be piced at Rs 4.99 lakhs ex-showroom
India Kawasaki Motor has updated its middle-weight offering, the Ninja 400, by introducing two new colour schemes. While one is named as Metallic Spark Black/Lime Green, the other is called Lime Green/Ebony (KRT edition). Both colour schemes are available in limited numbers as only 10 units each have been allotted for India. The limited colour schemes are available at no additional cost and continue to carry the same sticker price of Rs 4.99 lakhs, ex-showroom.
The Metallic Spark Black/Lime Green colour scheme features a metallic black base colour with lime green highlights accompanied by racy decals. On the other hand, the Lime Green/Ebony (KRT edition) colour scheme is similar to the standard Lime Green colour shade but gets additional red highlights at the bottom of the fairing and at the base of the mirror stalks. It also gets additional pinstriping and '400' badging, finished in gold.
Besides the new colour schemes, the motorcycle remains the same. It is built around a lightweight trellis frame that is bolted to a 399cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin motor. It follows a styling similar to the Ninja ZX-6R featuring an aggressive design with twin LED headlamps, multi-function instrument console, clip-on bars and a sporty step-seat layout. Despite its sporty looks, the Ninja 400 is designed to offer a comfortable riding stance that is ideal for touring. The motorcycle is equipped with beefy telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is done by disc brakes at both ends that are assisted by Kawasaki developed dual-channel ABS.
Interested customers can book the limited colour shade Ninja 400 by approaching their nearest Kawasaki dealership. Deliveries of the motorcycle are expected to commence by the end of this month.
