Piaggio has officially increased the price of the entire Aprilia and Vespa scooter line-up in India. While the Aprilia models have received a marginal increment of around Rs 1500, Vespa offerings have seen a relatively higher price hike which goes up to Rs 2,724, for the SXL 150. The new prices are applicable from the start of this month and have been implemented by all the Piaggio dealers across India. Given below is the list of ex-showroom (Bangalore) prices of all the Vespa and Aprilia models.

Piaggio has hiked the prices amidst the severe sales slump which has hit the overall Indian two-wheeler industry. Vespa models have been witnessing a consistent downturn over the last few months with their combined sales hovering between 3000-3500 units. However, Aprilia has witnessed a considerable rise in the year-on-year sales of its 125cc offerings since the introduction of the Storm 125 in India.
