Royal Enfield has officially launched a new variant of its popular Classic 350 model carrying a more affordable price tag of Rs 1.45 lakhs, ex-showroom. At that price, the new variant is around Rs 7500 cheaper than the standard Classic 350 model. Currently, the company has started retailing the new variant only across dealerships in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. However, the new variant will be available across the country by the end of October 2019.
To achieve that price tag, the new Classic 350 variant features single-channel ABS instead of the dual-channel system on the standard Classic 350. Also, while the regular model features a disc brake setup at the rear, this variant comes with a more affordable drum brake setup. Furthermore, the entire engine and wheels rims, which are finished in chrome on the standard model, are offered with a matte-black finish. Lastly, the dual-tone colour scheme finished fuel tank along with tank grips and other painted body panels have been givena miss for an all-black colour theme with only the tank finished in a different colour to stand out. Besides all these changes, the motorcycle remains the same on the mechanical front.
Royal Enfield is offering the new Classic 350 variant in two colour options- Pure Black and Mercury Silver.
