- 2020 Street Triple RS showcased
- Gets revised aesthetics, bump in power
- Now supports GoPro
Triumph Motorcycles has taken the wraps of its new and more powerful Street Triple RS. This is one of the few Triumph bikes for 2020.
This 2020 model gets a mix of aesthetic and mechanical upgrades. The front has gone a bit more aggressive, thanks to the redesigned headlight cluster which now integrates two strips of LEDs. The tail section too, has gone a bit shorter.
In terms of mechanical upgrades, the new Street Triple uses the same 765cc inline-three cylinder motor. But this time around, it produces more power and less emissions. This motor now produces 9 per cent increase in power at 121bhp and 79Nm of peak torque. Most of the other cycle parts like the 41mm Showa front forks, Brembo M50 calipers have been carried forward from the older RS.
The British maker has updated the TFT screen. It now gets Bluetooth connectivity and gets GoPro integration option as well. This system can be connected to the MyTriumph app and tonnes of ride data can be seen and used.
We are expecting this new Street Triple RS to be seen in India sometime early next year. But when it comes, expect a marginal increase in price.
