The Harley-Davidson Fat Bob is a motorcycle that is straight out of a post-apocalypse future with its bar-type LED headlamp, chunky proportions, hollow rear fender design and not to forget the magnesium-coloured exhaust shields. Harley-Davidson is offering this radical looking motorcycle with a unique 100 per cent finance at zero per cent interest rate. However, the only catch is that prospective buyers need to shell out Rs 3 lakhs at the time of purchase up front, which will cover the insurance and registration expenses. The offer is only available for the Fat Bob which currently retails at Rs 14.69 lakhs ex-showroom, New Delhi. Do note, this offer is available only for a limited period till the stocks last.
The Fat Bob is powered by a Milwaukee Eight 107 engine featuring a 1745cc V-twin that pumps out 145Nm of peak torque. The motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox with final chain drive. Compared to the previous version, the new Fat Bob weighs 309 kg in terms of kerb weight, 17kg less than the predecessor. The bike is suspended by 43mm Showa inverted forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is done by dual-discs for the front and a single disc for the rear.
Harley-Davidson is offering the Fat Bob in four paint schemes of Vivid Black, Black Denim, Red Iron Denim and Bonneville Salt Denim.
