British two-wheeler manufacturer, Triumph Motorcycles has launched the all-new Rocket 3 in India. The power cruiser is the successor to the previous generation model that was sold in the country. The motorcycle has been priced at Rs 18 lakhs, ex-showroom, pan India.
The 2020 all-new Rocket 3 is a complete overhaul in terms of styling and dynamics. While the predecessor was more on the lines of a cruiser, the new Rocket 3 defines itself as a power-cruiser and locks horns directly with the Ducati Diavel 1260. It features neutral-set footpegs and straight handlebars for a commanding stance. It also gets twin-LED headlamps, a cropped rear fender and twin slash-cut exhausts highlighting the single-sided swingarm and rear wheel.
In terms of powertrain, the power cruiser gets a 2500cc, inline-three cylinder motor that is capable of pumping out 165bhp of max power and a massive 221Nm of peak torque. Triumph has equipped the Rocket 3 with loads of electronics which include four ride modes, traction control system, cornering ABS and hill-hold control. It also gets a Bluetooth-enabled full-colour TFT dash.
