- Suzuki launched 2020 edition of Hayabusa in India
- Pricing remains unchanged at Rs 13.74 lakhs
- Gets new paint schemes and tweaked brake caliper
Suzuki had globally revealed the 2020 edition of its iconic sportsbike, the Hayabusa, in August. Now, the Japanese bike maker has launched the motorcycle in India at Rs 13.74 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) which is the same as the previous model. Available in two new colour options including Metallic Thunder Greg and Candy Daring Red, the 2020 Hayabusa is available at all Suzuki Big Bike dealerships across India.
Notably, this is the final version of the BS4 model of the Hayabusa which will be available in a limited quantity. It continues to be powered by the gargantuan 1340cc, in-line four cylinder, liquid-cooled motor which produces 197bhp of power at 9,500rpm and 155Nm of peak torque available at 7,200rpm. Thanks to the presence of Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS), the rider can choose one of the three available engine maps for different riding conditions. While the motorcycle remains unchanged in terms of hardware, it gets new set of brake calipers.
As we have told you before, this will be final edition of the current generation Hayabusa as Suzuki is likely to bring the much-rumoured larger-displacement model with turbocharger. In terms of competition, the 2020 Hayabusa competes against the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R in India.
