- New Classic 350 gets fuel-injected motor
- Will sport new paint schemes and alloy wheels
- To be launched in the coming weeks
The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 has been spotted in dealer warehouses, suggesting that the motorcycle will be launched in India soon.
While earlier spy images revealed that the bike could get cosmetic and feature updates, Royal Enfield seems to have some other plans. The new Classic 350 retains the same styling as the previous model, although with new colour schemes.
There is the Gunmetal Grey colour with tan brown seats along with a matte black paint that offers red graphics. The bike will also come in an option of spoke wheels or alloy wheels (similar to the ones on the Thunderbird X models).
The new Classic 350 comes with a 346cc, single-cylinder engine that is BS6-compliant and comes with a few changes like an updated catalytic converter, redesigned exhaust and an oxygen sensor. While details are currently unavailable, it could result in a decrease in power output and the distinctive ‘thump’ as well.
We can expect Royal Enfield to peg the new Classic 350 at a premium of around Rs 10,000-Rs 15,000 over the current model whose pricing starts at Rs 1.45 lakhs and goes up to Rs 1.55 lakhs for the Gunmetal Grey variant.
