- New Royal Enfield Classic 350 bookings open
- Gets alloy wheels and new paint schemes
- Likely to cost a premium of Rs 10,000-Rs 15,000
Royal Enfield is likely to launch the new Classic 350 in India on 7 January. The 2020, BS6-compliant model has already started reaching dealerships that have begun accepting bookings for a token amount of Rs 10,000.
The new Classic 350 will be available in new paint schemes and graphics. While the Classic Chrome and Signals variants continue to ride on spoke wheels, the variants are expected to sport alloy wheels as standard.
Apart from this, the new Royal Enfield Classic 350 will come powered by the same 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which is now fuel-injected. Power figures of this motor are currently unavailable, although it is likely to be slightly lower than the current model’s 19.8bhp output. The torque could remain the same at 28Nm
The new Royal Enfield Classic 350 thanks to the fuel-injected engine and minor cosmetic updates could demand a premium of around Rs 10,000-Rs 15,000 over the current model which is priced at Rs 1.45 lakh for the base variant.
