- New Apache RR 310 to be launched on 30 January
- Gets new features and slight cosmetic changes
- Likely to demand around Rs 20,000 over the current model
The new TVS Apache RR 310 will be launched in India on 30 January. It will get a host of new features that set it apart from the outgoing model.
The overall design and styling of the Apache RR 310 remains the same however it will be offered in a new dual-tone, black with grey paint scheme. In terms of features, TVS has equipped the motorcycle with some interesting gizmos. To begin with, there is the large colour TFT display that will come with the TVS SmartXonnect connectivity system. The display can be toggled through using the updated switchgear. Furthermore, the new Apache RR 310 is also expected to offer riding modes that would modulate throttle response.
In terms of performance, it will continue to use a 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with slight tweaks to make it BS6-compliant. While power figures are unknown, it is likely to be marginally lower than the current model. Apart from these changes, the Apache RR 310 is likely to remain the same. Nevertheless, it could demand a premium of around Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 over the outgoing model which is priced at Rs 2.25 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
